Massimiliano Giornetti

After graduating in foreign languages and literature at the University of Florence, Giornetti attended the Fashion Design course at Polimoda, in collaboration with London’s Fashion College and FIT of New York. In 1999 he started to collaborate with the designer Anton Giulio Grande in Rome for the development of the RTW and Haute Couture collections.
In July 2000 Giornetti joined the style office of Salvatore Ferragamo, at the beginning in charge of the creative team of the man, in 2004 he became the Creative Director of the brand. In January 2009 Massimiliano acquired the direction of the woman Ready to Wear and after a couple of months he was appointed the Creative Director of all the clothing and accessories lines of the Maison. In June 2011, Giornetti presented in New York the first Feragamo Resort collection in the splendid setting of the home of the heiress, philanthropist and art collector Doris Duke.
In 2012, for the first time, the Louvre opened its doors to the world of fashion hosting, in the evocative setting of the peristyle Denon, a Cruise collection with a very high artisan content, entirely designed by Massimiliano Giornetti and conceived for an exclusive audience.
